Michelle Franzoni Thorley
Michelle grew up under the poverty level. Access to basic resources was difficult in a single parent household. As a multiracial Mexican-American, she felt a call to know and explore her personal family history through art. Michelle’s work focuses on an ancestral power to heal. She is a self-taught artist who has worked very hard to learn and grow as an artist by reading books at her local library and watching painting tutorials on YouTube. Her work and words can be found on Instagram at @florafamiliar where she encourages friends and followers to gain racial literacy and racial stamina.
